Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

Nexceed, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use ATX Alerts.

1. Information We Process

  • Account: If you create an account, your sign-in service gives it a unique account reference. Depending on how you sign in, it may also process your email address, display name, email-verification status, and Apple, Google, or password sign-in. Your account is identified by this reference, not by your email address.
  • Alert choices: We store the neighborhoods and roads you choose, your plan, and when your settings change.
  • Notifications: If you turn on notifications, we store a code that allows notifications to reach your device.
  • Support: If you contact support from the app, the draft email includes an account reference, your selected neighborhoods and roads, app version, device model, operating system, and time. You can review or remove this information before sending.
  • Service information: Our service providers may process limited network and device information, such as IP address and browser or app details, to run, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

2. Location

Find my neighborhood requests your current location only when you choose the feature. Your location is compared with downloaded neighborhood boundaries on your device. It is not sent to Nexceed, LLC, stored in your account, used for road alerts, or tracked in the background. You can select neighborhoods manually without location access.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to sign you in, save your alert choices, deliver notifications, run and protect the service, fix problems, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or tracking across apps.

4. Service Providers and Disclosure

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud for sign-in, storage, and app services; Expo to route notifications; RevenueCat to manage subscription status; and Apple or Google to process purchases and deliver notifications. Apple or Google also processes sign-in information when you choose that option. These providers operate under their own terms. We may share information when required by law or needed to protect rights and safety. We do not sell personal information.

5. Public Incident Data

Alert descriptions, public record numbers, times, and incident locations come from public agencies. This information is not location data collected from your device. Alert history is stored in shared neighborhood and road files so the app can load it efficiently.

6. Storage and Retention

Your selected neighborhoods and roads are saved on your device and with your account. Account details, notification settings, and information used to deliver notifications are kept while needed to provide the service or until you request deletion. Delivery information that no longer works may be removed automatically. Public alert history is kept for about 14 days. Support messages are kept as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, and meet legal obligations. Service providers may keep activity records according to their own terms and retention periods.

7. Your Choices and Deletion

You can change your neighborhoods and roads in Settings, turn notifications off in the app, manage sign-in options in Account, restore purchases from the Premium page, manage or cancel a paid subscription from Settings or Account, and delete your account from Account settings. Deleting your account removes the account, notification settings, and information used to deliver notifications, except for anything we must keep by law. Account deletion and uninstalling the app do not automatically cancel a store subscription; cancel it separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You can also contact [email protected] about access or privacy rights.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including sign-in requirements for private account information and restricted access to stored data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

ATX Alerts is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

10. Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information, or to appeal a response. We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law. We do not discriminate for exercising applicable privacy rights.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
